We are pleased to announce that Aquila Heights is now supporting the Jurassic Coast Trust, the charity which manages the UNESCO World Heritage Site, as a business partner.
The Jurassic Coast consists of 95 miles of one of the most gorgeous coastlines in Europe, from Orcombe Point in Exmouth, East Devon to Old Harry Rocks, near Studland in Dorset, including almost the entire Dorset coast. The coastline is important not only for its undeniable beauty, but it is also of huge geological and prehistoric significance – a walk through 185 million years of time.
As a business partner, we’ll be making a contribution to the protection of the World Heritage site. Dorchester is centrally located, and is one of the best touring centres for the entire coastline. We love the coastline ourselves, and visit all parts of it whenever we have a few spare hours, so we are delighted to be able to help, in a small way, to protect this environment for future generations.
We are always looking for ways to grow our business by engaging with and supporting our local community, so it is a great opportunity for us to partner with the charity which cares for the coastline which we, and so many of our guests, love so much.
